Historic and individual living in the loft
Historic and individual living in the loft
Description
Individual living experience in a closed unit (ground floor) of a former artist's studio. Quiet central location in the Oststadt, away from the street with a green courtyard and private terrace. Partially renovated, charming loft with approx. 65 square meters, shower room, open kitchen, "sliding cabinet" and Swedish stove for a special experience. The space The living room is simple and with typical old building flair. This means that imperfections on floors, doors and walls should not bother you. It is spacious with about 65 square meters and closed off from the rest of the building, which has two more floors. The entire rear building was built in 1890 as an artist's studio. Everything is a little "rougher" here. You shouldn't expect chic, but mood and atmosphere. In the cold months, in addition to central heating, the wood-burning stove can provide cozy warmth. We are happy to give instructions on how to operate the stove upon arrival. The closet is hidden under an old wooden slide, for an unusual indoor sliding experience. Guest access: shared entrance to the staircase with the owners. Additional info: The bed shown in the photos has now been replaced by two RIAB cardboard beds, each 80 x 200. Parking is free a short distance around the house, but these are rare in Karlsruhe Oststadt. With a little patience, however, you can find what you are looking for.
