One block from town and set on a quiet side street, your mountain cabin is an easy walk to a hip little brewery, cafe, library, bookstore, restaurants etc. Decorated with creative souls in mind, stay for a few days or more for the full benefit. Enjoy cooking in a set up kitchen (waffle and bread makers, juicer) or simply relax, rejuvenate, read, write or just think, escaping with tons of games, books and DVDs by the fireplace! The space You'll love the fresh and creative vibe. Hang your hammock in the enclosed veranda from where you watch the wildlife scamper in the pine trees, or maybe scribe away at the antique writer's desk. Furnished with artists, writers, adventurous travelers and romantics in mind, the cabin is in a peaceful and private neighborhood, yet still only a few minutes LEVEL stroll to the main street. The spare room is set up for an extra guest or two. Families love the distraction-free atmosphere and getting to connect over games, music, DVD's and books ... it's like stepping back in time! The cabin has honored the presence of a newborn babe, marriage proposals, honeymooners, marathon hikers, screenwriters on a deadline, girls' weekends away, birthday and anniversary celebrations, film-makers, families reconnecting, ex-pats returning and first time explorers. We would love to help make your special occasion a time to remember! (Please note, this is a quiet neighborhood. Parties prohibited) Guest access Your kitchen is fully equipped including all cooking and baking needs, with numerous small appliances. The bedroom has a romantic, serene feel with cream and white linens, cozy down comforter and feather underlay. Open fireplace and/or natural gas heating plus two electric heaters warm the winters. In the summer, temperatures stay cooler than 'down the hill', with fans and loads of shade from the pine trees. Off road parking for two vehicles. (Advance notice for two vehicles during snow season) Other things to note COVID restrictions are being enforced for the safety of our guests and cleaners, over and above what is required. NO VISITORS ALLOWED. NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS. If this does not fit with your plans, please contact us so we may find a way to accommodate your needs. Some dates require 2-3 day minimum. Please enquire.
