"The Ridgetop" is nestled in the Nantahala National Forest with breathtaking mountain views from every room. East and west facing decks offer gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. This 3-acre property sits on top of the mountain overlooking Historic Downtown Murphy at 2,100 ft. elevation. Dine or lounge on the spacious decks or sit by the campfire. A natural and private setting, only 5 minutes away from the town center and Harrah's Casino. Paved road up to gravel driveway. Garage for foosball and darts! The space Well equipped cabin in a pristine natural environment! This cabin offers free high speed internet with a dedicated work space. You will have free access to Netflix, as well as be able to download apps on the Smart TV. If you are a music lover, you're in luck. Spin an old record on the turntable or connect to the Bluetooth stereo. Fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances and everything you need for a home cooked meal. Use the gas grill on the deck to barbeque, while taking in the mountain views. Read a book and relax on the hammock. Guest access Two vehicles can park in our driveway comfortably. You are more than welcome to store bikes, kayaks, motorcycles, etc. in our garage if you wish. It is strongly recommended that you arrive during daylight hours. The road up to the house is well paved, but is steep with lots of turns. It is easier to navigate during the day for the first time. An AWD/4WD vehicle is not necessary, except may be during rare snowy/ice conditions during the winter season. Other things to note For your safety, we use an enhanced cleaning protocol to disinfect the cabin after each guest. All firewood is provided for the outdoor fire pit. We also have roasting sticks for s'mores!
