Private Annex in Edinburgh's Corstorphine

Our beautiful Annex is your own private space, attached to our family home. Set in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Corstorphine; to the West of the city centre. With great bus links to the city centre, Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium, and Edinburgh Airport. The Annex is peaceful, despite being close to all the amenities Corstorphine has to offer (think lovely independent cafes, restaurants and shops!) A fantastic base to explore Edinburgh and beyond. Tourist tax is included in price! The space This is your own completely private space in the Guest Annex attached to our family home. The house is located just round the corner from all the local amenities of Corstorphine Village. These include a local Co-Op (shop), Costa Coffee, local award winning pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Bus links to Edinburgh City Centre within 100 meters. Corstorphine Hill Nature Reserve is a great walk with incredible views of Edinburgh from the top of the hill. Access to the Annex is from your own private door via our back garden. The ground floor consists of your light and spacious living room- including a bookshelf with TV and Blu-Ray player; dining table, chairs, sofa (can be set up as a sofa-bed on request prior to arrival), as well as your own kitchen. From the living room there are stairs leading to the first floor. The kitchen is great for breakfast and light cooking. The kitchen includes fridge, kettle, microwave, 2-plate induction hob, and sink (please note there is no oven). There is a washing machine that may be used for an extra charge. The stairs from the living room lead up to the bedroom and shower-room on the first floor. The Annex sleeps 2 guests in the King-Size bed in the bedroom, and can sleep an additional 2 guests on the Sofa-Bed in the living room downstairs. A lovely modern shower-room is on the same level as the bedroom (up one flight of stairs from the living room). We are happy to supply a travel cot and highchair for guests with a baby or toddler (suitable for up to 2 years) free of charge, if you could just let us know in advance so it can be organised for your stay. If you have a car, you are more than welcome to park one car in our private and gated driveway. Alternatively there is free on-street parking on nearby roads. Please let us know if you wish to make use of the driveway during your stay. Licence number - EH-69731-P EPC Rating - C/ 70 Guest access The Annex consists of a private living room, kitchen, bedroom and shower room for guests to use during their stay. These spaces are entirely private, we won't access the space during your stay. There is also a small garden area that the guests can use to sit outside and enjoy. Access to the Annex is via our family garden, at the back of the house. Other things to note If you have a car, there is private parking in our gated driveway, or alternatively just up the street on Forrester Road or Belgrave Road. Please let us know if you want to use the driveway so that we can open the gate for you before your arrival. Edinburgh Council have introduced a tourist tax starting in 2026.
