Gîte des Lavandières on the edge of Vienne (Civaux)

Whether you're on a business trip (4.5 km from the plant) or on a family vacation, this cottage is for you! Located in a small village, away from the noise and bustle of the city, you will be lulled by the lapping of the water and the magnificent view of the Vienne.  You can rest on its pleasant terrace or cool off by taking a dip in the river. If fishing is your passion, you will enjoy 200 meters of private shore to cast your lines. The space This 135 m2 cottage includes a common room with exposed stones (35 m2) with living room, TV, DVD player, radio, fireplace (non-functional), fully equipped kitchen, (fridge freezer, 4-burner induction cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Senseo coffee makers, kettle, toaster and everything you need to cook), 3 bedrooms with magnificent views of the river, 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, small garden and terrace. The gîte can be rented for the weekend, night, week or month. To make your stay pleasant, sheets can be lent to you free of charge on request, as well as towels, soap and a hairdryer. If you want your privacy, I recommend the Aubineau room (30 m2, a double bed 140, antique parquet, Poitevin fireplace (non-functional), dresser, wardrobe, iron and ironing board and closet). With its private toilet, you will enjoy the splendid view of the Vienne without being disturbed. If you prefer to have the shared bathroom in your room, you will choose the Dive room (30 m2, a 140 bed, a dresser, a closet, a wardrobe, antique parquet). To preserve your privacy, you can close the large Japanese panel that will filter the light while protecting you from the prying eyes of your friends. Finally, with its 4 beds of 90, the Vienne room (40 m2, antique wooden floor, a dresser) is rather dedicated to children but it is however possible to bring two beds together to obtain a bed of 180 more suitable for a couple. If you work at night, the calm of the site and the full shutters will allow you to sleep peacefully. The wifi connection is via a 4G box allowing you to connect throughout the cottage. We can provide you with garden furniture, barbecue, raclette, baby bed, high chair on request. We draw the attention of parents of very young children to the fact that the river is about twenty meters from the vacation rental. The small garden is completely enclosed, it will be possible to close the gate for added security. We also inform you that the gîte has stairs and that these cannot be protected by barriers. For your information, the rooms cannot be locked. In addition, guests will need to cross the two bedrooms upstairs to get to the bathroom. Guest access You will enjoy the entire home, its small garden and terrace. You will have access to the river (which is about twenty meters from the terrace) through a small beach where you can bask in the sun or put your canoe in the water. You can also store your fishing gear or canoe in a locked room upon request. Other things to note Unfortunately, this home is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the stairs. The bathroom is upstairs, guests must cross the Vienne and Dive room to access it. We may occasionally have to cross the small garden of the gîte to go to the church square.
