Black Bear Falls Cabin is truly a special place. Nestled into the Ozark National Forest, it's a secluded, peaceful oasis with all the amenities of home. Stay on the property and hike to the private 80 foot seasonal waterfall and enjoy the wildlife, or use the cabin as a jumping off point for all the Buffalo River area has to offer. From quiet romantic evenings in front of the wood stove to family gatherings on the porch swings, Black Bear Falls Cabin is the perfect place to recharge and enjoy. The space On 15 private acres nestled into the Ozark National Forest, you’re unlikely to hear another person. You’re more likely to see deer, turkey, raccoons, fox and the occasional bear or bobcat. There are 2+ miles of private trails and the highlight is the 80 foot seasonal waterfall. It’s spectacular! (Trail maps are there for you!) There are two master bedrooms on the first floor and two more bedrooms upstairs. There’s a full bathroom on each floor and even an outdoor shower for the more adventurous types! The cozy living room has a woodstove and a lots of entertainment choices. There’s strong WiFi, a 40” tv with Netflix, a Blu-ray player with loads of movies and several family board games. The large kitchen is fully stocked to make cooking a breeze and there’s dining seats for 9 with more room outside. The cabin boasts full-length covered porches on both the front and back with rocking chairs, porch swings and a hammock. If you’re quiet, you’ll likely see wildlife, There’s even a large fire pit and camp chairs for s’mores and hotdogs! You may not want to leave the cabin but if you do, you’ll be conveniently close to all the Buffalo River and National Forest has to offer. Hiking the trails, exploring Jasper and the Arkansas Grand Canyon, seeing elk in Ponca or floating the Buffalo River, it’s all close by.
