See Private Full/Double bedroom at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/29434669?s=51 Peace and Harmony is the theme of my house. I have done most of the repairs and restorations myself with the support and help of many of the lovely ladies I call friends. This American Foursquare 5 bedroom 3 bathroom built in 1925 incorporates handcrafted "honest" woodwork. While I've been told I'm quite witty, my home would be considered quite "smart" with the connected devices available to you during your stay. My space and I are however very much alike in that we will always be a work in progress and as creativity flows we will continue to evolve. I hope that if you chose my space you will enjoy the progressive evolution of improvements to my space of InHer Harmony. - Front Porch I'm available by phone, text, and email. I have an apartment upstairs and I am around the house frequently. I am available to recommend interesting things to do and see. I am a retiree/Free-lance consultant/artist who has lived in the Quad Cities Since 1973. My goal is to be helpful while respecting your privacy. Keystone Neighborhood is a quiet, quaint neighborhood ideally located between the two downtowns of Rock Island and Moline. This key location was first promoted by developer E.H. Guyer in the 1890s, where he imagined a utopian city with a depot, theater and wonderful houses. While the houses did eventually develop, the rest did not. Residents here resurrected Guyer's logo of the area 100 years later. One of KeyStone's major assets is the wide variety of architectural styles that can be found in the neighborhood. The neighborhood contains an outstanding variety of American Foursquare style homes. You are close to the bus stop, and Lyft and Uber are available. I walk to the grocery store (Aldi's) and it's 1 mile round trip. There are several food establishments within walking distance. You're steps away from an award winning pizza place (Harris Pizza #1 the original). There's a beautiful park down the street that often has free plays and concerts (mostly jazz) . You are close to everything while staying away from it all. From my house: Moline Airport-6.3 miles/ 10.1 kilometers; Downtown- 2.2 miles/3.5 kilometers; TaxSlayer Center - 2.1 miles/3.3 kilometers. When I am home in nice weather my doors and windows are wide open and unlocked and I have never had a problem. There are a lot of interesting restaurants, coffee shops, parks, microbreweries ,thrift stores and beautiful old homes and buildings in Rock Island and the Quad Cities. People often say that my space doesn't feel like it's in the city. Magical is the adjective I most often hear. I love to share my magical space island.
