Griffin's Rest; Inviting, Cozy, Near Thomas/Colby

Located only about 6 minutes from I95, my cozy cape, built in 1948, maintains a lot of its original charm with hardwood floors, built-ins, soft corners and warm colors. Your private room has access to public living room, kitchen, and shared bathroom. The private backyard also makes a lovely place to sit and unwind. Easy access to groceries, movies and restaurants in Downtown, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end road, this is the perfect blend of insulation and accessibility. The space Like many small neighborhoods in the area, this was a very strongly French neighborhood when it started. The house is built in a style very similar to others built in its era, and with design features that harken back to a time of small families and big values. Important to note: because of the size of the rooms, the sofa bed is in the living room, so privacy is limited, but I am very respectful of your space. Also know that there is only one bathroom, so guests will share that with each other, and with myself, as well as the kitchen. Guest access Help yourself to anything in the garden! Offerings are seasonal, but I usually like to grow a variety or two of kale, basil, peppers, snap peas. In the winter, the garden offers ice and snow. During your stay I'm happy to socialize, but understand that sometimes folks just need to rest. Let me know what would make your stay perfect, and I'll do my best to accommodate. Other things to note I will tend to keep the basement door locked, but if you want to do laundry, I'm happy to oblige.
