The accommodation sleeps up to 6 people, plus a cot, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms, one of them on the ground floor and en-suite. Green features - ASHP heating and EV charger. The centre of the house is dominated by an impressive, double-height, south facing living room with its gallery, open roof beams, natural stone fireplace, bookshelves, pottery, pictures, masks and rugs. It has both a living and a dining area and has TV, DVD, HiFi and fibre WiFi (up to 38Mbps) for entertainment. The stylish fitted kitchen/breakfast room, with its oak floor and spectacular granite worksurfaces, is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, induction hob and double-oven together with a breakfast table. The closed-off utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, and boiler. On the other side of the living room is a ground floor double bedroom, which like the living room and kitchen, overlooks the large cobbled courtyard belonging to the house. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with thermostatic shower, WC and washbasin. There is also a third loo downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one at either end of the living room gallery. One has twin beds and the other a double bed. Next door to the double bedroom is the second bathroom with a bath with thermostatic shower, WC and washbasin. Outside, across the courtyard, two archways in its honeysuckle and jasmine topped stone wall lead to an enclosed, lawned garden bordered by mature shrubs, fig tree and climbers growing against the wall. There is ample parking for two or more cars and an EV charger. Return each day to the tranquillity of the cottage, a warm summer evening or a crackling fire and a star-studded heaven. Tea towels, bath mats, rubber shower mats and a hand towel for each bathroom are provided. Guests should bring baby bed linen, blankets and a pillow for the cot. Central / Electric Heating, EV charging and Logs Central heating (by air-source heat pump - ASHP), if needed, is charged for at cost based on usage (hot water is inclusive). Electricity is included except for electric heating, and abnormal use which will be charged for at cost. EV vehicle charging should be via the charger on site and its cost is currently 40p-44p/kWh depending upon the ‘Tap Electric’ subscription chosen.
