Venus Bay Beach Cottage This homely cottage, only 800 m to the beach has recently undergone extensive renovations. The ground floor comprises of a large fully equipped kitchen with bench seating for 3 plus dining table for 6. Large open plan lounge room with wood heater and air conditioner plus Smart TV. Sunny deck with large front and rear yard plus outdoor shower. Huge attic/3rd bedroom with toys. Fenced yard and pets welcome. Walk to general store and shops. BYO bed linen and towels. The space You are visiting our holiday home, which we frequent often. You will love the proximity to the beach, shops and local playgrounds. Venus bay is very quiet and rarely becomes crowded with people so it’s a lovely place to just lay low and truly relax. We love evenings by the fireplace and sitting in the yard or deck when the sun is out. Guest access Guests have access to entire property. Other things to note Please remember to bring you own towels, bed linen and pillow cases. Check bedding configuration for sizes required. The property (including outdoor shower) is on tank water which is ok to drink and wash with. The garden taps are on bore water which you should not drink. You are welcome to bring pets however note they may still escape as wombats and foxes dig under the fences and leave gaps. For the hotter days there are portable fans and ceiling fans for use. In winter the wood heater provides excellent heat. It needs to warm up at first but then will heat adequately. It is a good idea to BYO fire wood however we have a small supply to get you started. Rubbish is collected Monday morning so please don't forget to put the bins out Sunday night. There is a gas BBQ on the back deck.
