This festively colored one bedroom, one bathroom cabin is a cozy getaway, all on one easy-access level. Enjoy the lush English garden, with a succession of blooms from June through October. If you are looking for a place that is unique and away from the hectic pace that life can sometimes demand Superior Shores 4 is it. The cabin is nestled in a group of cabins that was once a mom and pop resort. Now individually owned there are only a few that are still rented to vacationers.  Get up early and take your cup of coffee on the deck to watch the sunrise emerge from the lake. Then enjoy breakfast in the retro dining booth. Watch as the fog lifts off the lake and moves slowly across the land, covering everything with fingers of eerie dew. On clear nights lie on the deck and watch shooting stars overhead. The ceiling design recreates the themes of the Cree Indians and other native tribes. There is a riot of color, with geometric patterns and bands of bright red, yellow, blues, and greens. Its inspiration comes directly from the Naniboujou Lodge, just 13 miles up Highway 61. The cabin is beautiful and warm when the sun is shining. It is still cozy and snugs even when the autumn storms blow. French doors to the deck provide a view of the surf pounding on the ancient rocky ledges. The cabin is a mere thirty feet from the shore of the world’s largest freshwater lake. Superior Shores 4 is just a 30-minute drive from Lutsen Mountains Ski Resort and Summer Recreation area. Also Because of its close proximity to Grand Marais, this quaint cabin is perfect for someone taking a class at the Grand Marais Art Colony or North House Folk School.
