The spacious and bright apartment for 2 to 4 guests in a small two-family house from the early 20th century. It is quietly located at the foot of the Niederwald in a cul-de-sac. It has two bedrooms with a double bed, a daylight bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with seating and a large living room with dining area and fantastic views of vineyards, the red wine community of Assmannshausen and the Rhine. The famous Rheinsteig leads directly past the house. The Niederwald hunting lodge can be reached on foot or by Assmannshäuser chairlift. The village of Assmannshausen invites you to linger with some restaurants and bars. Rüdesheim am Rhein is only about 8 minutes by car from Assmannshausen. Here, trains run hourly and, in the season from Easter to the end of October, excursion boats regularly run to the romantic UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley with its multitude of castles and wine villages. In Rüdesheim am Rhein there are also many restaurants as well as numerous shopping opportunities and supermarkets. Guests have their own terrace with furniture and a charcoal grill. We are happy to recommend restaurants, inform about excursion possibilities and provide information and maps about the region. Quiet location in a cul-de-sac above the village near the forest and vineyards. Parking available in front of the house. Trains run hourly. Bus and boat connections in season.
