Italian Olive Grove

Oliveto Italiano, meaning Italian House of Olives. Our Italian inspired stand alone studio is nestled among the olive trees in a totally private and quiet setting. Perfect for couples. Magnificent ever changing panoramic views over the olive trees to the inner Mangonui Harbour and surrounding hills. The space This spacious fully self contained studio has a large ensuite bathroom and generous north facing deck. The kitchen is stocked with basic pantry items, a full size fridge/freezer, convection oven, induction cooktop and an Italian coffee machine. Also a stainless bbq available Guest access Oliveto Italiano is positioned in the middle of our 10 acre olive block of 600 trees and 3 acres of developing native bush. You are welcome to wander the grove and we’re always happy to share information on the olive growing process. It is a working olive grove and is busy at harvest and pruning in April/May. Other things to note We are located approximately 6k from the historic Mangonui village with restaurants and cafes. We are ideally located for exploring Northlands many beaches, wineries and walking tracks and Cape Reinga is an easy day trip.
