Mulberry cottage is a beautiful contemporary cottage tucked away in the small, friendly village of Angarrack approx 1 mile from Hayle. To access the property you drive onto a bridge with its own stream running below. This cute cottage has been completely renovated, and is the perfect peaceful retreat for a couple or a young family to enjoy a cosy break. There are two cosy bedrooms and french doors which lead out onto a south facing sun terrace. The space The cottage has a private driveway over a bridge which can fit 2 vehicles on. We can park a landrover and a large van on the driveway, although they are nose to tail. Please note there is a ramp to drive up and this may not suit low profile cars. It is best to reverse onto the drive. The cottage is petit, with low beamed ceilings. It is very small and bijoux, and in total it is 80msq. The cottage is ideally suited to a couple wanting a romantic break, or to a young family with children over the age of 3 years. Please note there is a stair gate at the bottom of the stairs and not at the top of the stairs, so toddlers should not be left unsupervised upstairs. We prefer dogs to remain downstairs which is why we have put a stair gate on the bottom of the stairs. The main bedroom has white company linen and is designed with plenty of storage under the bed and a small wardrobe. The second bedroom is small, it has 2 adult single beds in it, but is tight for space and more suited as a children's room, as bigger teenagers and adults will find this space tight and the ceilings low. The photograph provided is accurate of the bedroom. If as a family you are happy to squeeze older teenagers and adults into the twin room then that is fine by us. Again there are storage drawers under the bed and a small wardrobe. The kitchen has an electric oven, a small dishwasher, one small under the counter fridge, with an ice box, there is unfortunately no room for a freezer. The washing machine is situated outside the back door in a storage box as there is no room in the house, and we do not have space for a tumble dryer. There is a drying rack and a clothes line instead. The lounge is very cosy, and we have one small sofa and an electric wood burner which is very cosy. The front of the cottage has a south facing terrace which gets the sun all day. The village is set in a sheltered and secluded valley, which protects you from the worst of the bad weather and provides a perfect sun trap. The village has a bigger river running close by, which is perfect for local dog walks. Please note, we do not allow electric cars to be charged from our property. Guest access The whole cottage is available to guests and front patio. There is parking for 2 cars off road. Please note the driveway has a ramp to drive up, so if you have a low profile car this may not be suited to you. Other things to note We accept a minimum booking of 3 nights. Occasionally a 2 night gap appears in the calendar and at we are also happy to accept 2 night bookings when this occurs. Feel free to message me to see if I can accommodate your request, if the house is empty I can usually help. Unfortunately we cannot accept one night bookings. Please do not have more than 4 guests staying.
