Ideally located in the heart of the smallest city in England our beautiful period house was built in 1805 as a coach house . It has just been recently refurbished to a high standard but we kept some period features so it’s cosy and full of character. The house would be a great place to relax peacefully for couples , solo adventures, business travelers or visiting parents of students from Wells Cathedral School . Fully furnished to a high standard , quality fittings and comfortable beds . The space We tried to create a beautiful family home with an idea to combine historical features of the house (built in 1805) with the latest modern “must haves “ ! The house is made up of two double bedrooms ( one with queen and the second with two singles which could be pulled together ) . One single bed has an orthopaedic mattress . The luxury hotel Egyptian cotton bed linen and quality towels provided for your stay . The Italian designers taps and fittings in the family bathroom with walk in rain shower . Dual aspect kitchen/diner/living room with natural oak wood flooring , plantation shutters, wood burner, French oak furniture , LED TVs. The high spec designer acrylic kitchen with an island,granite worktop , Rangemaster gas cooker , Siemens Porsche and Gaggia coffee and tea maker , designers “Caphalon” utensils , Denby crockery and more -will make a pleasure to cook . The house also has dishwasher , large fridge/freezer ,washing machine and tumble dryer . The period high walled garden with barbecue, fire pit , waterfall cascade feature , table with chairs and outdoor seating provides a pleasant and peaceful retreat and particularly beautiful on a sunny days. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations and practice a self- check in Guest access Guess access : two bedroom upstairs and bathroom , living/dining/kitchen and garden . Allocated parking for one car Other things to note Parking : allocated parking for one car available close by on a Chamberlain street ( information will be given together with check in instructions a few days before guests arrival) . There is a short term parking within two minutes walk to the house ( Union street car park ) . Waitrose car park is £6 .50 for 24 hours is the closest to the property.The 24 hrs “High Street Car Park ( south street ) cost £5 for 24 hrs , free one hour parking on Chamberlain street ( and car could be left there between 5pm until 9am on Saturday from 5pm until 9 am Monday morning ) Configuration of the cottage is such that it’s not possible to install handrail on the staircase therefore the property not suitable for a young children and elderly people .
