Pudding cottage provides quality accommodation in the heart of the Lake District - perfect for families, and their well-behaved dog. Pudding cottage provides spacious family friendly accommodation for six people and has been furnished and equipped to offer a luxurious yet homely holiday experience. This converted cottage is part of a converted coach house and stables. Set within beautiful landscaped gardens, Pudding Cottage has a peaceful and secluded feel without any compromise on convenience. The space Located a couple of miles from both Ambleside and Windermere villages and a 5 minute stroll from 'Brockhole', the National Park Visitor Centre on the shores of Lake Windermere, Pudding Cottage is the perfect base to experience the Beautiful Lake District. The bright and spacious lounge has a large bay window overlooking the garden. From here you can watch the kids playing safely or simply observe the huge variety of wildlife that resides around the cottage. Inside, the lounge offers plenty of space for you to relax and for children to play with the toys, games, books and craft box provided, There is a 55" flat screen smart TV with Netflix, Disney+ Prime Video, DVD / Blu-ray player with a selection of family films. Plus there's the bonus of a X box 360 games console with assorted games and a Blue tooth music player. The bright and roomy kitchen is superbly equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine (pods supplied to start you off) and washer/dryer as well as a dining table for you all to sit around and enjoy a great family meal. We have gas central heating and constant hot water. Each of the three bedrooms at Pudding Cottage has its own welcoming style with close attention to detail. The king bedded master en-suite bedroom is in warm pinks and oranges plus a TV. The king-size room has a New England nautical twist with a TV while the other twin-bedded room is a glorious riot of colour aimed at the younger members of your party. There are 2 bathrooms new in 2022: one en-suite with shower, and family bathroom with shower over bath, hand-made soaps and luxurious toiletries are provided. There is the added bonus of a downstairs cloakroom. We are fully equipped for families with children and provide travel cots, highchair, toys and other nursery equipment plus board games, DVDs and a games console for older children. Outside, Pudding Cottage has a largely enclosed communal garden . The cottage also has a large private patio terrace and BBQ, with outdoor dining table and chairs where parents can keep an eye on the kids at play while relaxing with a glass of wine. The cottage has its own dedicated parking space by the front door, additional parking is available in the visitors car park. The cottage has its own 7kw EV charging point. LEISURE CLUB MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY Included in every booking is a pass for six people, to use the facilities at the Choices Health Club in nearby Troutbeck Bridge. (1 mile away). Choices has swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fully equipped gym plus classes. DOG FRIENDLY We are a dog-loving family, and would love you to bring along your favourite dog to enjoy the lake district with you. We normally only allow one dog. We just have a few rules regarding dogs at the property: Dogs must not be left alone in the property. Dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings, or upstairs in the cottage (there is a retractable stair gate). We also provide a large dog crate and dog bowls should you need them Dogs should be kept on a lead whilst in the communal garden areas, however there are paths very close to the property where dogs can be let off the lead. LENGTH OF STAY Midweek breaks (Monday 4pm - Friday 9am) and long weekends (Friday 4pm-Monday 9am) are available at certain times of year (November - mid March). Please note from mid March until the end of October we have a minimum booking period of 7 days with a Friday changeover day. Normal changeover for weekly breaks is a Friday. For Christmas and New year weekly breaks the changeover days move depending when Christmas falls. Weekly discounts are available in low season (when minimum stay periods are 3 nights).
