A 10 minute drive and you can enjoy the beach at Sherman Park, located on the upper St. Mary’s River. Feeling adventurous, 2 hours to the west is the beautiful Pictured Rocks. Even closer, you can hike the trails at Tahquamenon Falls or scavenge the beach of Whitefish Point, where you might find an agate or a yooperlite stone.
