Big, bright & cheerful Victorian terraced house

A beautiful, bright and spacious Victorian house that sleeps up to six people comfortably. Enjoy living space over three floors, every amenity included (and a washing machine and lots of toys), fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as Broadway Market, the park and London Fields Lido in spitting distance. Plus a wonderful mature garden at the back with big trees that will make you forget that you're right in the middle of one of the biggest cities of the world! The space Our lovely Victorian terraced house overlooks some wonderfully green and mature gardens and trees. Spread over three floors, it has three bedrooms (two for your use, one is private), a large living room, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor and a pleasant garden. The master bedroom on the first floor has a very comfortable double bed as well as a desk and chair and radio. The second bedroom on the second floor is suitable for two people, one person with a single bed, one other person on a single mattress on the floor. On the ground floor there is a large open-plan kitchen, a dining room and a living room. In the dining room, there is also a comfortable double sofa bed which can be used as a fourth bed, sleeping two people. We have a wonderful, mature garden at the back with a table, chairs, a bench and a table tennis table for your use. There is a toilet with sink on the ground floor, and a large bathroom (toilet, sink, bath and shower) on the first floor. Our house is a in quiet and leafy street, a short walk away from London Fields, a lovely, vibrant park with the Lido, London's most famous heated 50 metre outdoor pool, as well as Broadway Market on the southern end, which is a bustling and friendly street with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as its well-known Saturday market. During your stay, we can provide you with: - keys so you can come and go - fridge for any food items you would like to cook - kitchen appliances including kettle, pots, pans, etc - towels - bedding including pillows, duvet and blankets (either double or single duvet depending on your preference) - hanging space for your clothes - TV, DVD, CD, radio - super-fast Wi-Fi fibre broadband - use of an iron and ironing board - lots of recommendations & local info We are a German-English couple and have two teenage boys. We speak German and English, as well as some basic French and Spanish. At the moment we're offering the entire house for private rent for select periods only. Guest access The whole house (except for one room at the top of the house which is private) and garden is available for guests. Other things to note We're a 5min walk from Hackney Central Overground station (the Overground basically operates in the same way as the Underground and is shown by orange lines on the Tube map). You can also get to Dalston Kingsland within 10mins walk (another Overground line taking you into South London). Bethnal Green Tube station is 10-15 minutes away by bus and the Central Line is very fast into central London and the West End. There are also lots of different buses going into all directions of London, we mostly use the 242 and 277 and 55, 254 and 38 to get around London! For any guests wanting to bring their car and use on-the-road parking, we'll be able to organise visitor parking at a small additional charge.
