Home in Pine Mountain

Light airy 100-year-old updated home in historic Pine Mountain. 1 mile from Callaway Gardens, 2 blocks to downtown antique shops, restaurants, and gas station. Only about 3 miles to hiking trails in Roosevelt State Park. 15 miles to Warm Springs and Roosevelt's cottage. 35 miles from Columbus and 70 from Atlanta. I live in the home. I have been hosting since 2014. I am very respectful of my guests needs to either privacy or to socialize. I am a good resource for area information. The space Light and airy cottage, 100 years old, but recently updated....while retaining its historic flavor. Original heart wood pine floors in all but kitchen and bath. Relatives of the original builder told me it was built by his field hands and is listed up at the Pine Mt./Chiply Historical Center. Guest access Access to home, except my bedroom and garage. Other things to note I have 2 small dogs, Weatherbee a very friendly brown Chi, and Littlebit a friendly white Jack Russell. They are both rescues. They love company and might be in your lap if you like. If not No is the word to say to them. They are good with guests' dogs after they are acquainted. You may bring dogs, there is a fenced yard for them to poop in, and a poop scoop is available. No Cats Please. Cats would drive the dogs nuts! Please be prepared to crate your dog if you go out, unless he gets on well with my dogs and I agree to watch them. Thanks.
