Delightful, 2 bedroom 19th Century Cottage tucked away in quiet conservation area. Located 5 minutes level walk from Barnstaple Town Centre, transport links and the famous Tarka trail cycle route. The space This is a pretty, well-equipped cottage located in a quiet private lane just a few minutes level walk into Barnstaple: close to the River Taw and some of North Devon's most beautiful beaches. Inside, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay and there is a courtyard garden to enjoy on lovely sunny days. From the front door, you head into the living room with two sofas, a log burner, TV and DVD player plus internet access.. There is a dining area and a 60s/70s radiogram complete with a range of vinyl – hopefully something for all tastes in music! The kitchen next door is equipped with everything you should need to cook up hearty meals: there's an electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. There is a downstairs shower room and WC off the kitchen. From here, you can step out through the stable doors into the pretty courtyard garden, where you will find a set of table and chairs to enjoy breakfasts in the sun, as well as secure storage in the shed for bikes – you can bring your own or make use of the cottage’s 3 rather elderly but serviceable bikes. . Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms – a double with a newly refurbished luxury en-suite with bath and separate shower and a twin-bedded room. Both rooms have plenty of storage so you can unpack your clothes and feel right at home. Its quiet location, homely features, courtyard garden and allocated parking, for an average sized car, directly outside make this the perfect spot for a relaxing stay by the North Devon coast! Guest access Guests have one allocated parking space in front of the cottage. This is suitable for an average size car - not for large SUVs. The area and all the local beaches are also easily accessible by public transport - the bus station is a few minutes walk away and the train station just a few minutes more.
