Tucked away down its own tree- lined, private driveway, Cae’r Beili is a 200 year old detached stone barn , located in a private, peaceful and totally secluded position on our 150 acre farm. Plenty of wide open spaces, no neighbours, walks from the door, fresh country air and panoramic views of the Cambrian Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. What more could you want! The space The atmosphere at Cae’r Beili is one of total comfort and relaxation and every care is taken to ensure our guests’ stay is of the highest standard at all times. We follow Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. The living room, a place to gather your thoughts and friends, is full of character and charm with high sloping ceilings, exposed roof trusses, beams, a cosy wood burner and oak floors. Experience the toe warming joy of a real fire. There's nothing like it! Snuggle up on the leather sofas and exquisitely crafted Welsh woollen blankets. Watch the large flat screen TV, enjoy a DVD, try the stereo with a selection of CD's and take a pick from our good selection of books, maps and magazines. And there's free wifi if you want to keep in touch with the world outside. A gallery landing, overlooking the living room, provides an additional quiet seating area. The hand made oak kitchen, with its black granite worktops, is fully equipped. With a dishwasher, washing machine, electric over and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, slow cooker and all crockery and cooking utensils. Cooking will not be a chore at Cae'r Beili! Dine in the conservatory . The large farmhouse table is a place for coming together. Watch the birds ( over 30 species of birds spotted in the garden recently) and sheep in the fields nearby or the red kites soaring overhead. Or just relax and spend quality time together watching country life from the comfort of a chair - whatever the weather! When it's time to put your head down, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms with one a king size bed on the ground floor with an adjacent shower room, one king size bed with an en suite bathroom on the first floor and a twin bedroom on the first floor. Linen and towels are provided and beds are made up prior to arrival. Wake every morning in your own little piece of heaven. Snooze a little, read a little, grab a coffee and read a bit more! Lots of outside space to sit and enjoy the views. Enjoy a moment of peace with a pot of coffee and a book in the crisp morning sunshine. Enjoy your evening meal around the large garden table and as dusk falls chat by the fire pit. The swing seat is the perfect place for a spot of stargazing. You'll be astounded by the starry skies above - they're amazing! Electricity, oil central heating and logs from our farm are provided and there are no hidden extra charges. Guest access Guests have access to all of the barn. There is one step to enter the barn. The whole of the ground floor is level with a downstairs double bedroom and adjacent shower room. There is ample parking, a patio with garden furniture and a large, safe lawned area. Enjoy the peace and tranquility, the wonderful views and the fresh, clean air. Luggage can be unloaded outside the cottage. Assistance can be given on request. Other things to note Cae'r Beili is perfect for family getaways or relaxing with friends; for romantics who want to snuggle up in front of the log fire or watch the stars; for adventurers who fancy exploring; or for seekers of peace who want to unwind and recharge. A cot, highchair and stair gates are available on request. We are open all year round for full weeks or short breaks. We have a no smoking policy. We do not accept pets. Tesco, Morrissons and Asda deliver groceries to the cottage.
