Treetops Retreat is nestled amongst the native bush and secluded from the public eye. Whether you are staying for a few nights to explore Lake Taupo or passing through on business or perhaps after a tranquil place for that much needed rest and relaxation, Treetops Retreat can cater for it all. Leave the car at the property as your accommodation is located centrally and a short stroll away to Taupo's best restaurants, bars and events and of course the lake. The space PLEASE NOTE : from 8th January 2025 the bedding configuration will be Room one 1 x King bed Room two 1 x Queen bed Room three 2 x Single beds. Centrally located but oh so private! Treetops is a private oasis nestled amongst native trees set and set high upon a hill with stunning views. There are three bedrooms. The master has large windows showcasing the native bush an ensuite and queen bed. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and can be closed off from the main living spaces. One of the bedrooms has a sliding ranch door which leads out to a deck area with seats and a table to enjoy over a morning coffee or evening wine. The remainder of the house is open concept which comprises a large area including the kitchen, dining and living area. Large sliding doors open off the dining area to an expansive fully covered deck and patio area. Perfect for relaxing, reading, enjoying a beverage in the evening or overlooking the surrounding area. Enjoy the creature comforts of home in this well appointed house. It has been designed to make you feel at at home away from home. We supply linen, towels and soap as well as kitchen essentials such as tea, coffee (instant and plunger), sugar, oils, herbs and spices. The kitchen is well stocked with all the crockery, utensils etc should need during your stay. Guest access Guests will have access to all parts of the property EXCEPT the garage. While there isn't laundry facilities there is a laundromat 500m away from the accommodation and we have a full washing line onsite available for use. Other things to note The gardens are now off limits to guests due to the steep nature and hazards.
