Stay in dormitory with amazing farm-view! - In Daikon Island in the heart of the lake, Retreat to the heart of the island. Located in Daikon Island, San'in, Japan, "COCORETO-The Guest House" opens in May 2018, and to offer experience program called "Island Cycling" and "Experience" (harvesting, making crafts, etc.). Dormitory room is designed uniquely to face farms and made of natural woods, indigo-dyed sofa etc., to promise you to have comfortable stay. The host can speak English and Chinese. The space Farm-view dormitory - standard has 4 furnished beds, and you can enjoy outside landscape over full-height glazing, and feel very wide and open feeling. The view is indigo color gradation of Lake Nakaumi (the “Mid. Sea”), Mt. Daisen (the “Big Mountain”), Shimane Peninsula (known as ancient “root” country), Chugoku Mountains, “Lying Buddha” Hill and so on, which are not to be found anywhere. Guest access Shared space consists of kitchen, dining and living corners, with book and gift shelves. Bath room has two separate space; one for common use and the other for ladies only. Other things to note We prepare coffee machine, other beverages and small breakfast with charges. The guests can serve by themselves. Unfortunately, we cannot cook and serve any meals. The guest can bring foods from outside (supermarket in 5 min walk, loco market or convenience stores in 5 min drive), and can use the guesthouse' kitchen, then cook by themselves. We also can guide local restaurants (Izakaya restaurant in 3 min walk, Ramen restaurant and Chinese restaurant in 5 min drive, and so on). For other requirements, we introduce many types of restaurants in both Matsue or Sakai minato towns, and either is in 15 to 20 min drive away.
