The space The Chalet Hakuba Staunton is a stylish, solid and elegant new property built to ensure guests experience the utmost level of comfort, convenience and style. Together with her sister house Hakuba Elgin, these are the only two chalets in our portfolio that offer 4 fully equipped en-suite bedrooms, which means less wait time for bathrooms and more time on the slopes. The owners of Hakuba Staunton are keen skiers themselves and have made every effort during the design and build process to ensure guests enjoy their skiing experience as much as possible. The Chalet offers a good-sized and efficient drying room, large king-sized beds as well as the full range of Western amenities and excellent entertainment systems. The house is constructed with eco-consciousness in mind, built using the state-of-the-art 'FB method', which similar to the Passiv House concept sees heated air from under the house flow via empty wall cavities through to the entire structure and through each room. This allows maximum energy efficiency, a smaller carbon footprint and ventilation for the house without draughts ensuring extra comfort for guests. Hakuba Staunton is located in Misorano, a few minutes' walk from lively Echoland with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The shuttle stop for free shuttle buses is also just a few minutes' walk away, allowing guests to explore and enjoy all the major ski areas in the Hakuba valley. There is also room for car parking outside the chalet. LIVING AREAS The living areas are carefully thought out and designed to ensure up to 10 guests can relax and unwind comfortably in spacious surroundings. Under a beautiful cedar ceiling, the lounge room, dining area and kitchen are all in one large open space to encourage mingling/socialising. The living room features large sofas, TV with Netflix as well as a Bluetooth soundbar. The dining area has immense character with the centrepiece being a beautiful live-edge monkey-pod wood table, meticulously crafted by a local carpenter to ensure adequate space for 10 people. The kitchen has the full set of appliances to satisfy all cooking needs, including an induction cooktop, a full-sized oven, a microwave, a large fridge with ice-maker and a large dishwasher. There are also a wide range of smaller electrical appliances such as a rice cooker, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. BEDROOMS The four bedrooms in the chalet are all ensuite, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal wait time when getting ready to hit the slopes in the morning or unwinding for the evening. The spacious bedrooms all come with a comfortable king-sized bed that can be split into two single beds, allowing flexibility for couples and single guests alike. The upstairs bedroom has a loft area that can accommodate two guests with two single beds. BATHROOMS All four bathrooms are fully fitted with toilets, wash-stands and powerful showers. The master bathroom downstairs and the upstairs bathroom both are fitted with a deep bath for relaxation after a hard day's skiing. OUTDOOR FACILITIES There is a spacious wooden deck at the back of the house, offering a relaxing outdoor space for summer activities such as BBQs. Other things to note -Villa's outdoors space are available only from mid April to November. -BBQ facilities available to rent upon request for a charge of¥5,000. It includes BBQ grill, 1 pack of charcoal, fire starter, lighter, BBQ tongues. -Cribs are available upon request for a charge of ¥2,000.
