Banksia House at Kings Beach - a relaxing oasis

Message us to inquire. The space This home has been purpose designed to create an unique holiday experience. Movement between the living and sleeping areas is through uncovered, external spaces, encouraging a strong connection with our amazing subtropical surrounds. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen and large, open plan lounge and dining rooms featuring a central, double sided fireplace. Huge sliding timber doors on either side of the living area allow the boundaries between inside and out to disappear. On the northern side a covered deck with lounge and dining areas overlooks the bocce court and the 8m x 4m magnesium pool with its own lounging area and shower. On the southern side a central courtyard connects the living and sleeping structures, and features a barbecue, an outdoor fireplace, built in seating and lush gardens. The secluded outdoor bath is tucked between the bedroom courtyards. There are two equal sized bedrooms, each with ensuite, private internal courtyard and direct outdoor access. One bedroom features a king bed, the other two single beds. Our beds are ultra comfortable with brand new, top of the line, Sleepmaker mattress ensembles with multiple pillow options, plus organic bamboo cotton sheets, and sumptuous doonas. The bedrooms have ducted heating/ air conditioning as well as ceiling fans and generous louvre windows with insect screens. They also feature black out curtains, ample wardrobe space, and dual reading lights. You will look forward to going to bed every night. The Banksia House officially sleeps 4 people, however we can provide an extra bed for families with an additional child upon request (in either of the 2 bedrooms). Please contact us to enquire. The Banksia House is not suited to groups of more than 2 adults and 3 children. The Banksia House is in a residential area thus is best suited to guests seeking a quiet, relaxing beach holiday. It is not suited to guests who are wanting a loud and lively vacation, or who are looking to entertain additional visitors during their stay. We expect our guests to be considerate of the surrounding residential neighbourhood and behave as though they were in their own home and not in a resort. Large gatherings and late night noise are monitored by the host who lives next door and will not be tolerated. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the property during their stay, including all of the areas described in this listing. There are additional areas on the property that guests do not have access to, including the garage and studio above it, and the guest cabin at the bottom of the block. No one else will use these areas or access the property during your stay. There is a secure, gated entry to the house with access code, and off street parking for 2 cars in the driveway (uncovered and unsecured). Other things to note We have tried to think of everything to make your holiday extra special. To make your packing a little easier, we supply all linens for the bedroom and bathroom as well as luxurious pool/ beach towel and hairdryers. We provide beautiful Aesop organic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash) to use during your stay. In our kitchen we provide freshly ground espresso, a selection of Planet Organic teas plus olive oil, salt & pepper and a few spices, organic dish soap, dishwasher detergent and laundry soap. We also supply a starter pack of wood for the fireplaces and set them up for your arrival, all you will have to do is light a match. Though we are pet friendly accommodation, we have a very strict policy prohibiting pets from being on any furniture, indoor or out. We are also extremely careful to ensure there are no lingering pet odours in the house or gardens. We ask pet owners to pick up after their pets the gardens, and to ensure their pets are not left unsupervised at the property.
