We are the perfect destination for you if you are looking for peace and relaxation on the Algarve, but also want to be close to the beaches of the South coast and the impressive cliffs of the Atlantic. The space The Quinta no Estaco is situated 600m above sea level to the north of Portimao in the mountains of Monchique. The terraces of our house offer a spectacular panorama view of the Algarve coast from Albufera to Sagres. Many idyllic corners are to be found in our extensive terraced gardens where guests can relax in the shade of olive, orange and fig trees. The Quinta has its own well with the very best water quality, as it is situated close to the former Roman baths of Caldas de Monchique. We have apartments in three varying sizes on our 17,000 m² grounds. Each apartment has its own terrace, an inviting area to sit together for al fresco dining and barbequing, offering spectacular views of both the South and West coast of the Algarve. A fireplace and an underground heating system ensure a cosy stay even in the cooler months. All apartments have satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The 90m² apartment has all the facilities of the smaller apartment but with an additional mezzanine area with a further bedroom. There is also a shower room on the ground floor. Excellent views of the Algarve are most certainly on offer here, too. Guest access A swimming pool with a children’s corner offers refreshment on hot days. The 13x6m pool area with parasols, sunbed loungers and a shower can be reached by a path through the garden and is situated on one of our middle terraces. Registration Details 19668/AL
