A rustic rural retreat, our farmstay is the farm’s original farm house. Escape city life, unwind, unplug and connect with nature. Soothe your soul and take this opportunity to relax and enjoy life on a working chestnut farm. The farm stay while being peaceful and secluded is alongside the current farm house. Situated in a beautiful valley with three dams and free ranging animals, the farmstay is fully self contained and has Telstra mobile connection and WIFI. It is an ideal relaxing getaway. The space Guests love being able to completely unwind, enjoy the views, connect with nature and simply escape the rat race. 12 minutes from Nannup’s great coffee shops and restaurants it is the ideal rural retreat. You can also learn all about chestnuts and the many products that are produced on the farm. The farmstay has differing floor levels and a spiral staircase. Two Queens size beds in 2 rooms and 4 single beds in two bunks in the 3rd room. Guest access Out of harvest season, we offer Chestnut Experience Tours which are complimentary for farmstay guests, in addition, guests can wander through our beautiful chestnut orchards and enjoy some forest therapy- as long as our farm Biosecurity measures are adhered to. During harvest season we offer “Pick Your Own” chestnuts - a fun tradition for families. Other things to note There are a number of walk trails and cycle trails around Nannup. Chestnut Brae is part of the Blackwood River Valley Farm Trail and is part of The Organic Garden Trail. There is a small farm shop at Chestnut Brae that sells the farms produce including gluten free chestnut flour and chestnut fed pork. Only Telstra has coverage on our farm and in most out of town country areas. We now have satellite WIFI. Registration Details Exempt
