2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Located directly in the heart of Mahone Bay on Main St - steps to shops, restaurants and sits on the mouth of Mahone Bay waterway. This quaint and cozy apartment is all yours. With a full kitchen and just steps from a grocery store where you can stock up and fire up the BBQ or head out to the many amazing restaurants within walking distance. Backyard access and fire pit on the waters edge. Walk to local trails, parks, pool, and picturesque ponds. The space Prime location - right on Main St and the river. This 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom includes a full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and microwave, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, blender (for those fun drinks), pots, pans - all the comforts of home. You can cuddle and watch a movie as you unwind with the TV that has Netflix and Amazon Prime, or head next door to Mateus restaurant and take in the local bands. Fully equipped kitchen - complete with coffee, tea, condiments, cereal, oatmeal, and a gift basket upon your arrival with some essentials for your stay. The suite comes with puzzles, games, books and a deck of cards to pass the time your way. There is even a book written by me for your enjoyment. Your private patio contains a table and 2 chairs, separate portable chairs to take by the waters edge or to a local beach. your own BBQ and a relaxing view. During the fall you are close to lots of wooded walking trails for amazing fall foliage pictures. You can see and easily walk to the world famous 3 churches - and be lulled by the sound of the church bells playing as they echo across the bay. Guest access You can easily walk the neighborhood as we sit at the heart of Mahone Bay. All restaurants, post office, grocery, pharmacy, coffee shops, tea, liquor store, brew pub, shopping, ice cream, pizza, the entire street is at your doorstep. Beautiful peaceful backyard and we are on the waters edge of the Maggie May River. You can feed the ducks nightly at the waters edge. Barbecue is on the main level, and you have your own as well at end of your deck. Right at the waters edge sits a fire pit where you can relax, unwind, roast some marshmallows and catch a look at the thousands of stars overhead. This is a 2nd floor apartment with 3 flights of stairs. Not recommended for elderly or parents with young children. Other things to note Use the custom created welcome guide which has all the details including restaurant, golf, wineries, hikes and tourist attractions as well as some hidden gems just for you. This comfortably fits 3 people - Queen and 1 single bed - and is a NON- SMOKING PROPERTY and NO PETS. This is NOT designed for 3 separate sleepers - do not book if that is you. This is for a couple and a single. Three - 3 separate sleepers cannot be accommodated for space-wise or bedding-wise. This is a 2nd floor apartment with 3 flights of stairs. Not recommended for elderly or parents with young children. Main St. can be busy - you are on the back though not street level. It goes quiet around 7pm when most traffic is gone - but you will get the odd loud truck or motorcycle. Traffic can resume around 8am. If you need silence - a Main St. location may not be for you. You may also hear music from Mateus restaurant in the summer months or the bandstand which is right along the water. It ends around 8pm and is generally quite lovely and enjoyable. We are at the center of Mahone Bay - but not the center of Mahone Bay Water - we are at the side edge so you get a water/river view, you'll see the road and a view of the church steeple, along with a gas station that is in front of the church. This is a great place to be in the heart of the town within walking distance to EVERYTHING. There are no laundry facilities on site. We do the towels and bedding at your request if you are here for a long stay and it needs changing. Your own personal clothing you will need to take to a laundromat located in Bridgewater or Lunenburg. We do offer drop off and pick up for a fee to a full-service dry cleaner if you would like that.
