Description

I work with entrepreneurs and love their energy and passion. It is a 2nd story unit, a quiet location 10-15 minutes walk from the city shopping centre, 25 mins to the wharf. Plants inside & on the balcony, and tropical trees to look over, checking the birds out. It is your home away from home, relax and prepare for your tropical adventure. I have been known as the phantom host as I work long days at the coworking centre in the next block but sleep at the unit. The space The bedroom has a king-sized bed and its own bathroom. It has a fan, a mobile air conditioning unit, plenty of cupboard/hanging space, suitcase racks and floor to ceiling mirror. Towels, sheets, beach towels (in laundry), hair dryer, shampoo etc. is all included. Guest access You have access to the living room, kitchen, laundry, barbecue area and pool, plus a tropical paradise on your doorstep. Basically treat the unit as your home away from home. During your stay I operate The Bunker coworking Space in the next block, and I tend to have long days, 7am to 8pm, so you have the unit to yourself most days, Although I do try to catch up and get to know you, and I am only 5 minutes away if you have any issues or need to know anything. Other things to note The juicy season happens December to April give or take a couple of months. During this time the humidity is high and going on diving trips is a great way to spend your time. The unit has two mobile air conditioners to keep you cool, so it is not a great issue. But you will find when you leave the aircraft you may wonder whether you breathe the air or cut it up into chunks and eat it. But don't worry you get used to it after a couple of years, and in the meantime air conditioning works well. If you set your air conditioner in the 24-26 deg range to dehumidify the air you will find the tropical heat is easier to take, compared to, if you have it set at 18-21 deg, which makes it like a heatwave outside. The rest of the year is around 20deg at night and 26-28 during the day. If the daily temperature drops to 20deg expect to see the locals in their Ugg boots and winter woolies. In spring (September) the temperature rises from 26 to 27deg and all the flowers come out. Summer temperature at 30deg is good and 33deg is very uncomfortable as the humidity amplifies the effect of the heat. There are two bicycles, with helmets to make it easier for you to get around. There is a small charge of $5/day/bike to cover their maintenance. Just make sure you lock them securely when you leave them.
