Le Moulin de Tingaud - Tranquil French water mill

The Water Mill sits on the Argentor River in Charente. It's converted for simple comfort and a tranquil French family holiday. It sleeps 14 with ease. The mill race runs under the house and the river winds gently through the garden with acres of rewilded fields and woods full of wildlife. It has a large outdoor terrace for eating and relaxing a field kitchen with large barbecue, prep table and fire pit. Local markets, wild swimming, canoeing, cycling, excellent local restaurants are all nearby. The space Guests have access to the surrounding gardens, woodland walks, fields and river. Kids can play in the woods and treehouses, in the rivers and on the trampoline. (Under 10’s should be supervised). There is a full field kitchen, fire pit and barbecue up at the old sawmill for wild cooking. It's the perfect place for an outdoor French holiday. Guest access Guests have full access to wild walks, swimming and cooking. The perfect place for an outdoor holiday. Or just relax in front of the fire inside the beautiful old mill. Other things to note Towels and all bedding are provided. We also supply logs for the fire from our coppiced woodlands. If you use the supply provided for you in the house you will need to bring in more logs from the log store or field kitchen.
