This designer beach retreat has everything: a hot tub for relaxing with friends, a huge screened in porch for enjoying coffee or cocktails, memory foam beds with 100% cotton 800 thread count sheets, a spa-like bathroom with all the amenities, fully stocked coffee bar with Keurig 2.0 and gourmet syrups, bikes to ride to the beach, and a snow cone machine for a cold treat after the beach! There are tons of common areas for you and your guests to enjoy including a three seasons screened in porch with soaring ceilings, super comfy furniture and stereo to enjoy while drinking coffee in the morning or cocktails with friends. The house is VERY centrally located: 10 minute walk to the beach, 5 min drive or bike ride to all of the shops, restaurants and attractions in Michigan City, 20 minutes to the Indiana Dunes National park, and 30 minutes to Michigan wine country. There is an elementary school with a huge field and two playgrounds directly across the street! The backyard is a second living room with fire pit for fun nights under the stars, gas grill for meals outside, and furniture for relaxing and reading (and did we mention the hot tub?!). Please note: we work extremely hard to keep the hot tub running smoothly for every reservation but it is not guaranteed as it can malfunction if guests don’t follow guidelines for use. We do keep it running in the winter but freezing Midwestern weather can cause it to heat up much more slowly so please be patient as it works to return to full temperature. We love to host and spoil our guests, so have tried to think of everything to make every stay exceptional. I am a five minute drive away, am always available by phone and am very quick to respond. Lovely, super quiet, safe beach neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach and Dune Billies is just around the corner for coffee and delicious food. Very easy to walk, bike, drive to nearby attractions. The Wave (the local public transit) also has stops in the neighborhood.
