There is a small pool, sun loungers, a vegetable garden, our friendly hens (who will happily provide you with eggs), a bamboo forest and a woodland walk. In addition, the property is 5 km from the famous Château and town of Azay-le-Rideau. The spectacular garden is entirely yours to meet your own personal satisfaction and pleasure. You will find as equipment in the garden, a small swimming pool, sun loungers to fully enjoy the sun, a large vegetable garden where you can discover many variations of vegetables and fruits, our peaceful henhouse where the chickens will be happy to serve you fresh eggs for your breakfasts, a large trampoline for the pleasure of your children, outdoor furniture to take your meals with family outside, as well as a bamboo forest where you find a certain tranquility and rest. You can also take small but pleasant walks within the property through the forest trails. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire property. The hectare Park is yours for your full enjoyment. The different accesses that tenants will have: total access to the entire property as well as its outdoor facilities for your enjoyment. Other things to note Please be aware that the property has the following: * a well (securely covered) * an above-ground swimming pool * natural 'caves' / natural rocky opening within the garden, These are locked. Check-in time: 3 p.m. Check-out time: 10 a.m. Azay-le-rideau is a beautiful town accompanied by a castle, with many restaurants, bars, ice cream vendors and 3 bakeries. To delight your palate! The Château de Villandry with its majestic and famous floral and vegetable garden with its vegetables of all kinds, is only 9 km from the house. The fortress of Chinon where the young teenager Joan of Arc negotiated with the future king to save France from the grip of the English by promising him the throne. This city full of history is just 18 km from here. Chinon is divided between the Vienne River and several restaurants, cafes and bars. You can enjoy days in this city of character. The house is located in a picturesque hamlet, Marnay, on the edge of Azay le Rideau. There is a train station in Azay le Rideau, with direct lines to get to Chinon and Tours, plus the Langeais train station is less than 10 mins from the house, which has many trains that serve cities such as Saumur, Angers or Nantes… There are many beautiful walks directly from the house - through apple orchards and vineyards. The Loire is 5 km away and can be reached by bike. Guests can rent bikes in Azay le Rideau - but if you want to make use of those in the house please ask - and I can provide a rate for this. Depending on the number and age of your group, we will do our best to accommodate you. There is also access to the river: the Indre is 200 m away. If you wish, we can also offer access to a 5m Canadian canoe and life jackets. Just please ask in advance and we can advise on the rental cost.
