Description
Charming 3 bedroom, 1 bath traditional wooden cabin, situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer islands. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor being National park land. 5 minutes drive to Acadia National Park -Flying Mountain and Valley Cove are very close by. Ask Marc for a hiking map to explore Acadia. The space Wayfarer's is a cabin on a private estate with other homes. Wood stove is not in operation anymore. You can use the normal heater and set to any temperature you desire. The Property has a beautifully wooded and maintained forest with a grassy field by the pond to play lawn games. Guest access There is a front loading Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer in the Hospitality Suite in another building. The Hospitality Suite has all the pamphlets from the local chamber and maps to help you plan your stay. There are also hundreds of DVDs in the Hospitality Suite you are welcome to borrow. The 'duck shed' by the pond has lawn games that can be used on the grassy field. Other things to note The TV is a smart TV. DVDs are available. No cable. Sign into your own Netflix, Hulu etc subscriptions. Bring your own HDMI cable if you want to hook up your laptop to the TV. We do have HDMI cables to lend. The TV has spare USB ports for any other device you want to bring from home. No dishwasher. No pets. Fire Pit area lower down on the property by the pond. It is communal. First come first served. Wood stove is not in operation anymore. You can use the normal heater and set to any temperature you desire.
