Ocean Cottage (at that point you can see!)

No smoking, quaint and comfortable thatch cottage with mezzanine floor. Wide balcony with great views over the Atlantic ocean. Walk past two houses and straight onto Kommetjie beach. Great surfing spot. Spacious office area with wide desk. Books. Fast Fiber Internet/WiFi. UPS for the office and some lights. DSTV available. Hairdryer, Iron. Kitchen has a Bosch gas hob and electric oven . Restaurants close by! Quiet surroundings. Cotton sheets and duvets. Very restful. Pets OK. The space Ocean Cottage is healing place close to endless beaches with very good restaurants fairly close by. Due to the drought experienced last year, we are still careful with our use of water. Consequently our fynbos garden is still flourishing, but the lawn has suffered... We are close to Cape Point with its amazing views and open spaces, wonderful fynbos flowers and little creatures. Many ostriches and Bontebok are also easily viewed. The quaint historical naval base of Simonstown is nearby and also on the False Bay side we have a colony of African (Jackass) Penguins. Cape Town is also easily reached via the famous Chapman's Peak Drive, and when on that part of the Peninsular please do not forget climbing or taking the cable car up Table Mountain and/or shopping at the famous Waterfront! Guest access You will be the only guests at Ocean Cottage. Other things to note Because of the previous water restrictions in the Cape Town area the garden is no longer as green as it used to be. Fortunately we have a lot of indigenous plants, so the garden is still with character. Should you wish to bring another guest or child, please inquire with Pat if this is in order and the rate for the additional person.
