Antiche Pietre B&B nestled between lakes and mountains

The tranquility of the woods, the ancient vineyards, the olive trees… the mineral collection: a sensory experience with the warmth of a “real” home perched atop a panoramic hill, just a short walk from the UNESCO site of Ivrea and an hour from Milan, Turin, and Cervinia. We are located on Sigeric's Via Francigena, an ideal place to relax, enjoying walks surrounded by greenery and along Lake Viverone and Lake Candia, both of which are suitable for swimming. There are several Erbaluce wineries in the area; we offer local organic wines. The space In our B&B in Bollengo, the rooms are large and spacious, 3 have air conditioning and some also have a balcony or terrace. All rooms are double and have a view of the front or back garden. Each room has a private bathroom (3 have it internally and one has it externally but it is a very large and comfortable toilet next to the kitchen on the ground floor). The reservation covers the rooms booked, up to a maximum of 4 double rooms (maximum 9 people, i.e., 2 guests per room). Therefore, you may “potentially” share the common areas of the house (living room and breakfast room) with other guests who have booked through other websites, such as Booking.com. For example, if you have booked for 5 or 6 people, you will have 3 rooms available. Those who wish to have the entire house exclusively must necessarily reserve for the maximum capacity of 8 people regardless of the actual number of guests. As the property is managed with the host present, depending on occupancy, double rooms for single use may be available. For any other need, do not hesitate to contact us before making a reservation. Guest access You can access the property from the center of the village of Bollengo along Via Ricca, turning onto Via Montebello and then onto Via Castello (a slightly narrow road with 2 sharp bends but where you can pass with a van up to 5 meters in length); there is also the possibility of accessing from Via Burolo (ask the host for directions) for a partially unpaved road with 9 hairpin bends but wider. The property features a large private park, a reading room with a fireplace, a separate kitchen, a breakfast room with a walnut table, a sun terrace, and a private Russian sauna made of Swiss pine (cost: €25 per person, by reservation only). Bedrooms are on the 1st floor reachable by two independent stairs. A bicycle shelter, free and protected parking is available, a bathroom also suitable for the disabled is on the ground floor. During your stay I am Iryna, and I am available to guests personally or through a trusted person throughout their stay. However, guests may also choose to use the self-check-in option with the combination keybox, subject to prior agreement. Other things to note We have a collection of stones and minerals that are echoed in the rooms and bathrooms. In the morning, when the weather is nice, you can also enjoy a hearty continental breakfast (for a fee to be agreed upon) on the terrace or at the stone table overlooking the valley. In the breakfast room it is not allowed to make self-service of the food and drinks stored in the fridge and cabinets as breakfast is served by the manager (unless otherwise agreed) From our b&b you can get around on foot or by bicycle to visit the towns of the morainic amphitheater. Our 40-square-meter sun terrace is the ideal place for sunbathing in complete privacy.
