This cozy bedroom is great for guests who are in need of transitional, internships, or long term housing. Recently updated closet systems to accommodate long term guests. Like new desk and storage cube. In room microwave and refrigerator with laundry and kitchen privileges. Our kitchen is for cooks! Fully stocked with most cooking equipment and dishes. If you love to cook you’ll love living here! The space Our home has been described as very unique, warm, and welcoming. Wood and stone floors grace this space as well as hand-made updates to the home. Southwestern and rustic style with a contemporary style. Tucked away in the corner of the home is this cozy bedroom. With a computer, office desk and chair, guests can catch up on email or watch a movie online. The bathroom, just down the hall, is shared and conveniently located. The television is in a shared space with Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming services available. NOTE: Beginning October 1, 2018, this listing will have a 30 day minimum stay. Fairfax County has changed its regulations on short term stays, which has greatly limited my ability to offer short-term bookings (less than 30 days). If you have questions, message me directly. Guest access The front door is equipped with a keyless deadbolt entry. Upon confirmation of reservation, the code will be accessible on this listing page. Keyed room access is provided. We would ask that if you are arriving after 10 PM that you message us and make arrangements. Shared access to the bathroom, kitchen, two televisions, laundry, and outdoor deck and fireplace is allowed. Kitchen use is as follows: Guest room refrigerators are provided. All personal food items should be store in guest rooms. After kitchen use, all dishes should be washed There is an espresso machine on site. If you choose to drink the coffee regularly, we ask that you contribute to the coffee find as we don’t skimp on quality. All uses of shared spaces should be left as you found them. During your stay Although we are busy, we love to be able to share a cup of coffee with our guests and make ourselves available to help in any way. Other things to note Trash collection: Monday Trash/Recycling: Monday Cans are located in front of the garage. Cleaning: No cleaning fee is charged at any of my listings. Maintaining a clean environment in personal and shared spaces is expected by each guest. A monthly cleaning service is provided to do deep cleaning. This normally occurs once a month. Provided breakfast: - Light, continental type breakfast items are provided on the bar which include bars and fruit. Occasionally, baked items will be available. If you have an item to share simply place it on the bar. - Hot tea and filtered water is available at all times. If drinking coffee regularly, we ask that you contribute to the coffee fund. We buy only the best beans! Allergens: - Please be sensitive to use of heavy perfumes and other scented items due to allergies of host and consideration of others. Pets on site: - There are two chocolate labs who live on the property. - They are very friendly and not loud. We love when you enjoy them. - Free high speed FIOS internet - Check in after 3pm, unless prearranged with host. - Check out before 12 noon - Free street parking - Linens provided. - Television in shared space - Privileges to use kitchen, deck, and laundry available. - Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. During quiet hours, we respectfully ask that you not use a TV, computer with speakers, have phone conversations, or music without the use of earbuds. - Multiple rooms are rented at this property and it is expected that guests will respect others need for quiet. - All rooms have doors that lock to secure valuable while you are out having fun! -Overnight occasional guests are welcomed at a $20 per night fee. This can be paid on-site as the guests visit.
