Description
A spacious first floor suite with uninterrupted views across the fields. Enjoy indoor or outdoor dining. A super king bed aids restful sleep with a rain shower en-suite. It benefits from having a small self contained bunk room for the children giving space but having them with you. A very small but well equipped kitchen with essentials provided. If you need us we are on site but otherwise will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay. If the Hay Loft is full - look up the Cow Shed. The space The Hay Loft is a hand built (by us) barn set in a rural location surrounded by its own acreage. The suite faces the field with only the cows and wildlife walking by. The room itself is light and airy with a dining table for 4 and a large sofa that can be used as a king sized bed. Ideal for families as it has its own bunk room which can also fit a travel cot - we can provide this with bedding and toys and books. We provide: salt, pepper and oil for cooking, tea, coffee (cafetiere & instant), sugar and milk. Day fresh eggs (when available) can be purchased for £2 per half dozen and we can make homemade bread at £1.50 per loaf. There is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower caps. Ladies, you'll find sanitary products in the wardrobes and please do not flush anything other than human waste and toilet paper. There is an iron and board in the room. The outside space you can use is not limited to just outside the barn, we have no objection to children using our garden which has swings, slide and a pool (summer months). During the summer it is likely we will have a bouncy castle/water slide in the garden. At your own risk and supervised by the parent/guardian, the children are free to use it. You are welcome to walk around but ask you are careful. Due to the nature of the location we have lots of barbed wire fencing and working machinery around. We are happy to show you around and politely request you do not enter any buildings unless accompanied by someone on site. We want you to enjoy your stay here so please ask any questions you may have in order for us help before you check out. We can fix most things and are happy to assist in any way we can. Guest access Free Parking for several cars. Guest outside space for morning coffee or eating out in the summer months. Communal entrance for boots, hats and coats. We do encourage guests to walk around and see the animals but access into any of the farm buildings/barns is strictly prohibited. We have storage available for bikes, canoes, kayaks, small boats and trailers if visiting for summer fun on the Solent or next door at Fairthorne Manor with a lake and river access, craft hire and slipway. Children are welcome to make use of the garden to burn off some energy and we have go carts and plenty of toys to play with. Other things to note 1. If you think you will be arriving late, please let us know and we can send self check in details. 2. Vaporisers or smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. 3. We have an inquisitive cat. 4. We are a working farm and farming duties have to take place daily, but heavy/noisy work should not start before 9am. If we have to under emergencies we will endeavour to let you know but your understanding of the surroundings will be appreciated. 5. Feeding of the animals is strictly forbidden unless supervised by someone on site. Please do not be tempted to feed the animals with anything other than what we give you. Normal foods can be very harmful to the animals.
