Scandinavian Modern Upstate House w/Pool & Sauna

The house is located in a private country setting and is surrounded by a 10-acre oasis with a stream and beautiful mountain views and lush foliage. It has every possible amenity from a heated (only in May, June and September) salt water pool, infrared sauna , gas fireplace, chef's kitchen, cable tv and incredible Hudson Valley views from every window! Short drive to the town of Millerton; located near lakes and great hikes, 20 min from Catamount and Mohawk Ski areas. The space The house features a spacious and Scandinavian/ mid century modern decorated living room; a large dining area; fully stocked kitchen with Viking stove, Viking fridge, Viking dishwasher and pour-over coffee maker. There are two bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the main level, and a Master Bedroom with an en suite master bathroom on the upper level. The Master Bedroom features a massive master bedroom suite with a queen size bed, a lounge area, a desk and an attached bathroom with a shower, a soaking tub, double sink and infrared sauna. The two additional bedrooms on the main level feature a queen size bed and a trundle bed in the kid's room. These bedrooms share a bathroom. In addition, there is a pull out sofa bed in the playroom. On the lower level you will find a large indoor playroom area with a TV and a sleeper sofa, an exercise bike, a ping-pong table and plenty of toys and games for all ages. Off the living room is a huge outdoor deck with a grill, dining room table, an outdoor lounge area with a sofa, and amazing views. The house also features an in-ground salt water pool; a pool cabana; an outdoor shower; a basketball hoop; a stream, a fire pit. The house is 5 minutes from downtown Millerton. Millerton is a dynamic town with a movie theater, a lovely coffee shop, restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, farm stands. In the area, you can enjoy hiking, biking, fruit picking, etc... The house is a 5 minutes drive to Sharon, CT; 5 minutes to Lakeville, CT and 35 minutes to Hudson, Rhinebeck and Great Barrington; 20 minutes to Catamount and Mohawk Mountain Ski Areas. It is located 90 miles from NYC and a 15 minutes drive from the Wassaic train station on the Metro North Line.
