Situated on a leafy street with private parking, and only a few minutes walk from much-loved Gyllyngvase beach, the harbour, and the town, Blue Shore is in the perfect location to make the most of your stay in Cornwall. The space Blue Shore's thoughtful design combines calm, scandi style with warmth and a 'home away from home' feel. Downstairs there is a spacious open-plan living room and dining area with a comfy corner sofa, smart tv, dining table and cosy wood burner. Double doors lead out to a private decking area with comfortable outdoor furniture, perfect for soaking up the sun, alfresco dining or unwinding with a drink as the evening draws to a close. The doors can open wide to create options of enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fresh air whether sitting inside, or out on the hardwood decking's twin armchairs. Back through the sliding barn door, the modern kitchen has everything you need to cook for a special night in. The kitchen is well-equipped with contemporary appliances, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, brand new units, and a granite worktop. The downstairs shower room situated just inside the front door is the perfect post-swim stop-off with a heated towel rail and spacious high-pressure shower. Through the kitchen, the natural seagrass feature stairs lead you up to the king bedroom, twin (or double) bedroom, and bathroom with heated towel rail and underfloor heating. All bedding is 300 thread count Egyptian cotton to give a luxurious hotel-style stay. The bed linen Dusal feather and down bedding uses Nomite® so that allergy sufferers can enjoy the comfort of natural bedding. Downafresh® guarantees that down and feather fillings comply with the strictest requirements of hygiene, animal welfare and ethics. The newly installed air source heat pump is an eco alternative to a traditional gas boiler. The system generously provides ample heating and hot water, and like the rest of the house, is powered by electricity that comes 100% from renewable sources - making your stay at Blue Shore entirely carbon neutral. The hidden utility space under the stairs is equipped with an iron and ironing board, and the washer/dryer makes travelling light no problem. Blue Shore is the perfect base for exploring what Falmouth and Cornwall have to offer. Guest access Guests will have full access to the property including private parking for one car in front of the house on the drive. The outside socket allows for easy EV charging. Within a short walking distance, guests can explore all that Falmouth has to offer, including three beaches, the town with a range of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and art galleries, the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth Harbour and Pendennis Castle. Blue Shore is very close to Falmouth Town train station for those traveling by train. Other things to note The property is cleaned to a very high standard; guests' safety is of the highest priority and covid 19 guidance is followed through professional cleaning. One well-behaved dog is welcome at Blue Shore. There is a leafy lane nearby, through the car park for early /late walks, and various fields and walks recommended locally.
