This lovely holiday cabin located in the quaint village of Blackheath in the famed Blue Mountains sits in a whisper quiet position, elevated amongst the treetops overlooking the beautiful bushland of Pope’s Glen. Comfortable and relaxing accommodation in a wonderful spot to unwind and escape from it all. Yet only minutes away are lovely cafes and restaurants, antiques, art galleries, markets, amazing bush walks through world famous national park and spectacular cliff top vistas. The space A large elevated deck fronting the house is a wonderful spot to soak up the serenity and the view where the only thing disturbing the bird chatter is... oh that’s right - nothing! Many hours can be spent lounging here soaking up the sun in this peaceful spot. There is also a long outdoor table with bench seating for dining alfresco. There are large glass doors leading from the living room onto the deck bringing the outside in during the warmer months. In winter the living room is a cosy spot to curl up in front of the combustion fire looking out. With its soaring timber ceilings opening to the loft area above gives it the feel of a real mountain cabin. You won’t find a television but the cabin has wifi and a great collection of books for all tastes and ages as well as an array of games and jigsaw puzzles and kids toys if the weather isn’t cooperating. KITCHEN The kitchen is light and bright with large windows to enjoy the view and is stocked with most appliances and utensils you could need to create some serious holiday feasting. There are basic food supplies to access if desired. A Nespresso coffee machine or plunger to suit your coffee preferences is also part of the experience! BEDROOMS There are 3 separate bedrooms. The upstairs loft bedroom ‘under the eaves’ has a king size bed. With a second sitting area and balcony upstairs as well, this can work as a nice parents retreat. There are bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and clothes rack. The bed can also be converted to 2 king single beds if you want to put the kids upstairs. With a double sofa bed in the sitting area this can become a great kids hang! One bedroom, the ‘alpine room’, on the main level has a queen size bed tucked into a cozy timber lined alcove with bedside lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The third bedroom, the ‘garden room’ looks onto a lovely cold climate garden. This room has a set of single bunk beds, reading lamps, built in wardrobe, and small desk with a chair. There are plenty of blankets and quilts for the cooler months. Each room also has its own portable heater. All linen is supplied. BATHROOM The bathroom is newly renovated with all new fixtures and features. There is a separate shower and large soaking tub. Towels are supplied. LAUNDRY There is also an internal laundry room with a tub, washing machine and dryer. There is a clothes line out the back. PARKING Parking is available on site as well as plenty of street parking.
