Los Feliz Casita Nestled in Private Garden

Your casita has an open layout with vaulted ceilings and its own private and secure staircase entrance. There is a queen size bed as well as a pull-out twin sleeper bed with memory foam mattress topper for an additional third guest. ***The casita is best suited for up to three guests but for a fourth guest, a third twin air mattress with gel memory foam topper is also available***. The casita boasts a half-kitchen with full-size refrigerator, half-stove, microwave, and essential cooking utensils. To get you in the California state of mind, the walls are decorated with surfboards and pictures of beaches. The colors are a relaxing green and blue and yellow. You have a great indoor/outdoor area for an authentic California living experience. A private outdoor patio with lounge chairs, love seat, and retractable dining is for guest use only with attached private yard. A charcoal grill is also available for use. Our vegetable garden is also in your private area and you are welcome to pick something out for your dinner or lunch if you would like. In early summer, the peach and lemon trees will offer plenty of fruit. Later in the season the pomegranates will be here for you. Towels and all utilities included. Street parking is usually readily available but in the rare event you can't find parking, you can park on the right side of our driveway directly outside the casita entrance. The casita is situated above our garage at the rear of a street to street lot and our large yard separates the main house and the casita. You have a private coded entrance accessible from the rear street as well as coded entry into the casita. Enter through the archway with the green door! We are usually on-site at the main house and respond quickly to messages and texts. The city of Los Angeles can be difficult to navigate BUT Los Feliz is centrally located between Hollywood and downtown with quick access to the best parts of the city without wasting time in a car. Our neighborhood has great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping (grocery and retail), a library, and more all within walking distance. We are also within walking distance to the many trails of Griffith Park which can take you to the LA Zoo, golfing and tennis courts, Griffith Observatory, and the Hollywood Sign. We also have quick access to the highways that will get you in and out of LA quickly. Los Angeles has a split personality: the city life and the beach life. Our Casita is here so you can experience the best of Los Angeles city life. While Los Angeles is notoriously difficult to get around without a car but Los Feliz is a rare exception! We can show you the tricks to getting around all the attractions pretty easily from your casita. Take the 5 minute Observatory shuttle (or 15 minute walk) to the nearest Metro/subway station. From there you have access to downtown with its museums and nightlife (4 stops), Hollywood and the walk-of-fame or theaters (1-3 stops), Universal Studios/City Walk (4 stops), Santa Monica and more! We also have easily accessible local Dash routes (Los Feliz, Observatory, and Hollywood Dash) to transport you around the area. Fare is only $.50! Occasionally we may need to access the garage located beneath the casita during your stay. We will do our best to avoid any inconveniences and absolutely no early or late night disturbances.
