We are only 4 miles to the thriving and exciting gold mining town of Mariposa; we will share with you the local's scenic short cut. The Mountain Top Oasis is a two story home in which the courtyard studio apartment is located behind the garage, entirely blocked off from the rest of the house for total seclusion. The courtyard is private for your enjoyment only; private entrance, private bathroom, private living space, private kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot, toaster, small refrigerator), and private courtyard. There are no shared spaces within your studio apartment or the private courtyard; all is for your pleasure. You are welcome to enjoy the surrounding property and all the outdoor amenities. We sit on top of a mountain with 360 degree views with the most amazing sunrises and breath-taking sunsets; prepare to be in awe. OH and the STARS are SPECTACULAR! Travel carefree to Yosemite National Park by utilizing one of the YARTS busses. The bus stop is located in the historic gold rush village known as Mariposa just 4 miles from your private studio apartment. The Yart, on your way to Yosemite National Park, travels through the beautiful Merced River Canyon. Once you arrive in Yosemite National Park, let your adventure continue as you embark upon the free shuttle that will take you through the park with varying stops along the way to enjoy the beauty of Yosemite without the hassle of traffic as the Yosemite shuttles have their own lanes designated specifically for their travels. (Especially nice on holiday weeks during the summer months) The studio apartment accommodates two people. Unfortunately, the studio is not designed for infants/toddlers/children. It is our policy to maintain a maximum occupancy of two as we do not wish to take on the liability of children. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Contact the owner if you need to add a person. Rare exceptions are made for an additional fee. Additional persons MUST be approved prior to arrival! Please DO NOT ask to bring children to the property as it is simply not equipped.
