Welcome to The Crooked Tree Farmhouse! This is a fully renovated, 120 year old farmhouse, situated on 6+ acres of woods and meadows. With 4 bedrooms that comfortably sleep 10 adults, feel free to spread out. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area provide enough seating for everyone to enjoy home cooked meals together. Downtown Bellaire is 1 mile away, so enjoy the best of nature but still be close to the action. We are a phone call or text away for any of your hospitality needs. Our farmhouse is truly our home away from home, equipped with everything you need and more. The home comes with wifi, washer, dryer, dishwasher, full size fridge, coffee maker, pots, pans, crockpot, utensils, pack-n-play, highchair, linens, bath towels (beach towels not provided), propane grill, grill tools, noise machines for light sleepers and extra blankets. The home was recently upgraded with in-floor radiant heating. There are window or ceiling fans but home DOES NOT have air conditioning. **This rental is for 10 guests maximum. Also, the entire 6 acres is yours to explore, however the property is only maintained (and sprayed for mosquitos) to the back of the firepit area. The rest of the property is natural and may be overgrown at times. We will be reachable via phone call or text during your entire stay for any hospitality needs. Schuss Mountain and Shanty Creek resorts are 10 minutes away for skiing and golfing galore. Downtown Bellaire (5 minutes) is home to Short's Brew Pub, Hello Vino Wine Bar, Bee Well Meadery, Terrain Restaurant and Mammoth Distillery (to name a few hot spots). Also check out Little Treasure's Toy Store for the younger guests and The Flying Pig and Boatman's for amazing antiques. Hiking (and biking) trails are also near by at Glacial Hills Trail and Jordan River Pathway. Traverse City is just a 45 minute drive while Boyne City is only 20 minutes away. The home is on a 2 lane 55 mph county road, so we recommend getting around by car when you leave the property. There are a few spots in Bellaire to rent Pontoons or Kayaks to explore the Southern Chain of Lakes (Bellaire, Clam, Torch, Skegemog, Elk) and the picturesque rivers that connect them. This home does not have air conditioning but does have fans throughout the home.
