Baevue Cottage was once an oyster purging shed, but has since been transformed into a perfect couples’ getaway, nestled on the waterfront of Pelican Bay in the Manning River. Just minutes from Manning Point Beach, it offers the ideal spot to start your day with a sunrise walk. Features include combined living and bedroom area (queen bed), bathroom, kitchen (no oven or dishwasher) ceiling fans, electric blanket, oil heater, WiFi and a fire pit. A Weber Baby Q BBQ is available upon request. The space The open-plan cottage has been thoughtfully designed for simplicity and comfort. Whether you’re staying for a couple of nights or a full week, you’ll feel right at home—relaxed, refreshed, and renewed after a peaceful stay by the river. The property is not suitable for children and as such we only accept bookings for 2 adults. ……….. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the boat ramp on the property during their stay. While the cottage doesn’t have its own laundry facilities, we’re happy to help with a load of washing at the main farmhouse if needed. Other things to note • At Baevue Cottage, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, and the gentle sounds of the river — a true country escape. While it’s a quiet and relaxing retreat, we are part of a working regional farm, so you may also meet some of our local “neighbours,” like cattle, a few friendly insects, or the occasional cobweb. It’s all part of the authentic country experience. • Baevue Cottage is designed just for couples, offering a cozy and comfortable space for two. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accommodate extra guests or children. • As the property runs on tank water, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water use during their stay. • You’ll also be greeted by our two gentle, friendly dogs, who love to wander over and say hello. • Of course, the cottage has Wi-Fi — so you can stay connected while you unwind and enjoy your time in nature.
