We purchased this waterfront heaven in 2018 and fully renovated it to make it our own style, and to make it perfectly suitable for as a fun & relaxing vacation home 8 minutes from downtown Annapolis, 12 minutes from Navy Stadium, 30 minutes from BWI, and 40 minutes from DC & Baltimore. KITCHEN: - Fully equipped kitchen for your cooking needs - The best parties take place in the kitchen! So we designed ours with a large island to seat 5, and almost all get-togethers end up with everyone huddling around the island - All brand new appliances LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM: - Very open concept - kitchen and living room (and screened porch!) really flow together as one big room - New large sectional couch - Large windows/sunroom for vast waterview and great natural light. When you walk in the front door, you can immediately see the water through the back! - Smart TV (we have great internet!) - Dining table for 8 - Fireplace with reading chairs - Bohemian in style BASEMENT: - Ping-pong, Darts, Shuffleboard, "man-cave / kids play area" w/ Smart TV, plenty of room for activities! - Laundry (washer & dryer) - Guest bedroom - Sliding door to backyard OUTSIDE/PORCHES/WATER: - Screened porch with large sectional couch, "breakfast bar" with the best view in the house and 4 barstools, bistro lights, fan... we spend pretty much all our time here (especially if it gets buggy in the summer) - Back deck with outdoor table for 4, grill, 2 zero gravity chairs to soak up the sun, and more great views! - Large well-maintained yard with a peaceful hammock, our FAVORITE tree swing (adult friendly), a propane fire pit surrounded by 10 adirondack chairs, and walkway out to the pier and water - 100ft pier - take our paddleboard or kayak (and life jackets!) out for a spin! It is paddling HEAVEN (great fishing too) BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: See "ROOMS & SPACES" section - Kayak - Paddleboard - Life Jackets - TONS of Mint in the garden - Grill - All necessary kitchen / cooking essentials (new appliances, salt, pepper, olive oil, utensils, pots & pans, etc) - Coffee (+ creamer & splenda) and tea - Two bikes in the garage (one men's commuter and one women's beach cruiser... take them for a ride to Starbuck's or to Thomas Point!) - The whole house is yours, we will lock off two closets that are not available to guests We will simply leave a key in the code padlock for you (will provide code before arrival). During most stays, we will be minutes away at our in-law's so you can contact us on our cell with any issues... other than that we will be out of your hair during your getaway! Kitty Creek is a small safe neighborhood (50ish single-family homes). Nearby Starbucks, Giant, CVS, Pizza, McDonalds, Rita's, and more. Some of our favorite lunch spots are Eastport Kitchen, Main & Market, and Giolitti Deli.... favorite dinner spots are Vin 909, Boatyard, Joss Sushi, and Lemongrass... favorite drink (and apps) spots are Sailor Oyster Bar, Market House, Fox's Den, Metropolitan, McGarvey's, and Dock Street... we'll provide all the good recommendations! We recommend Uber to get to-and-from downtown Annapolis - very quick! We also have two bikes (one for guys and one for girls) if you would like to bike to Starbucks, Thomas Point, or just go for a stroll... Downtown is so easy to get to and from, we grab a quick uber so we can enjoy ourselves while we are out and about. For anyone with severe dog allergies - We have a lab that lives here with us (she will obviously not be here during your stay)... We will do our best with getting all dog hair up but there may be a few stragglers left behind. Also, with how wet it has been in Maryland our backyard can be very soggy and sometimes it can get buggy... that's when the screened porch comes in handy!
