Our #2 bedroom , the "Blue" room, is decorated in red, white and blue w/ American Spirit. It shares a wall with our primary listing, which is insulated but not soundproof. The private bathroom is not attached, but is down the hall. This space is NOT set-up for extended stay, as there is no guest access to laundry or kitchen (private) parts of the house. There is a small fridge, microwave, and hot pot for guest use. We have accommodated longer stays for guests who don't need to cook or do wash. This is our 2nd room listing. It is smaller than our primary listing. The room has a queen bed, closet space, and a private, but not attached bathroom (located down the hall). This room shares an insulated (but not soundproof) wall with our primary listing. Out of consideration for guest privacy, we usually do not book both rooms at the same time unless I ask and guests are okay with the arrangement. This room is perfect for keeping friends or family members together. This lovely pasture and tree surrounded home is nestled on 2.5 acres in Richland, WA. Very private and quiet in a seldom used area of the house with a separate entrance. Nice and clean and decorated in a lovely cottage style. Location is in close proximity to the LDS Columbia River Temple (1/4 mile), Columbia Center Mall (2 miles), Columbia River (2 Miles), with an ideal feeling of country close to city conveniences. Whether you are here for the Columbia Cup Boat Races and Allied Arts Show in July, a visit with family, business, wine tasting or just wanting to explore the area, you will find this a memorable stay. However, if navigating the grassy slope is not comfortable, guests are welcome to use the stairs and front door. There is a large sitting area outside the room door where the breakfast table/coffee and tea service is located where guests may sit. Normally I prefer for guests to experience a quiet stay, but I enjoy meeting new people and I am happy to answer any of your questions. Many guests prefer to come and go through the downstairs entrance after the initial greeting through the front door. We live in a quiet, lovely neighborhood nestled at the base of a hill. There is a neighborhood park up the street and opportunities for walks around here are abundant. There is a city bus stop down the street about 1/4 mile away. This is not a hotel. This is our home. We would like to think that our guests have respect for our property as we would if we visited your home. This is especially true for little visitors. Parents, there is a large grassy area for playing, jumping and running.....outside.
