Description

IMPORTANT: READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING 95% of the time my guests are happy and leave positive reviews. The few times I've got negative reviews it was almost every time something that could have be avoided by reading the description (like "I had to do five floors by stairs" where it's clearly stated that its 5 floors no elevator). Since, even more than the bad reviews I don't like having unhappy people in my house, please be nice and read the description. The space WHAT COULD GO WRONG? Elevator - The place is at the 5th floor and there is no elevator (actually, there is one, but there is a key and I can't use it, so it's like if there isn't). Consider this before booking, if you have heavy luggage you must be able to carry them for five floors. Bed - the bed is a sofa bed. Sofa bed aren't that comfortable. If you need much comfort you probably won't find it. Over more than five years hudreds of people slept on it without complaining, but someone did, so keep this in mind. Tidiness and cleanliness - the house is normally clean. not super clean, there's some dust here and there, for example. Again, few people complained about it, but some did. Fair. If you have very high standards of cleanliness probably this house is not perfect for you. and most importantly it's pretty messy. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but pretty messy. the cat - often there is a cat. He's not always here but he may be. If you are allergic to cats, or you just don't like them do not book. Or just write before booking to check if he would be there that day. BONUS! - Sometimes the cat poops outside the litter box. That doesn't mean he does it everywhere in the house, but sometimes he does it right next to it, 10-15 cm from the litter box. I asked him why and begged him not to do it, but we didn't understand each other. If this is the kind of thing that traumatizes you to the point of making you run away without saying a word to me, I understand, it's legitimate, but please don't come to my house. Allergies - if you have any kind of allergy please write me before booking to make sure that the trigger of the allergy is not present in the house. People with real allergies always do that, but just to be sure. If you have an allergy to dust, your bed would be close to a bookshelf with lots of books. Which means dust. Which means you can't sleep there. The kitchen - Your room is in the house I live in. In the kitchen, sometimes, I cook. I cook all sort of foods, including stuff like broccoli, cauliflower, onions, spices, fish. If the smell of cooked food disgusts you, you'd better find a different accommodation. The bathroom - Again, is the place where I live, and there is only one bathroom. So the bathroom is shared. Usually I'm quite flexible with my schedule, and I tend to give priority to guests for the use of the bathroom. However, if your beauty routine involves occupying the bathroom for two hours in the morning an two before going to bed (yes it happened), it may be more appropriate to look for a place with a bathroom all for you. the check in - I'm kinda flexible on check in, but it must always be agreed, both with respect to my schedule and with the presence of previous guest, in case. usually if you arrive in the morning the room may not be ready, but you can pass by to drop the luggage and get the keys. The reservation - As I told, this is my place, and I'd like to know something about the people I host, so I really appreciate, when requesting a reservation, messages where you introduce yourself a little. A few words of basic good manners will do, I don't need your resumé, but messages like "see you there" are not the best. when you will ask for booking the first thing I'll ask is about what time you think you will arrive. If you don't answer I will likely decline your request. If you tell me about your arrival time in the first message without me asking for it, you will be my favourite guests. If I may suspect that you haven't read this description before booking, I may ask you if you have, but I may also happen to just decline it. If you confirm me in your first message that you read this you are the number one. the check out - the check out should be before 11am. generally it is not a problem to leave the luggage until later, since you leave the room in the morning so that I can prepare for other guests. "generally" means that I can't always guarantee that you could do that. If you have any special needs about check in or check out, you'd better ask me before booking. The room is about 20sq.m (215sq.ft), with a queensize (150x200 cm/60x80 inches) sofabed. The room is in the apartment where i live. There is a large kitchen/dining room available for cooking and eating. The bathroom, with bathtub/shower and a washing machine at your disposal, is the only one in the flat, so it’s shared Sheets, blankets and towels are included in room price. There is free wi/fi broadband at your disposal. There is a bookshelf in your room, so, if you stay for several days, I may happen to need access for a few minutes (whenever suits you best, of course). Apart from that, you will have complete privacy; the room is right next to the front door and does not pass any other rooms. The apartment is on the 5th floor, with no elevator, in the Romolo/Porta Genova/Navigli/Bocconi area. The street is very well served by public transport: the ringroad buses (90/91) and the trams (3, 15) running directly to the center in 15 or 20 minutes are at the doorstep; the Romolo metro station on the green line is three bus stops away (or 10 minutes by foot). The area is nice, with two supermarkets within a 5-minute walk, various pubs, restaurants, little food shops, bookstores and record stores, a public library, and the Auditorium of Milan. And of course the Navigli, Milan's famous canals. Please don’t smoke in the house. Please contact me and introduce yourself before booking. Since this is the home where I live, I like to know something about the people I will host. Registration Details IT015146C1Z9OESEHS
