Beautiful Retreat House in a Rustic Setting

The St Thomas More House of Prayer is a Catholic retreat house devoted to praying the Liturgy of the Hours. Not only do guests get to enjoy our beautiful property nestled in the woods, but they also have the opportunity to experience the liturgical prayer of the Catholic Church, which is offered seven times daily in our chapel. Guests are also entitled to our Airbnb Experience which includes conferences on the history, theology, and basic instructions for praying the Liturgy of the Hours. The space St Thomas More House of Prayer is beautifully situated in a rustic setting far removed from the noise and distractions of the city. The retreat house is constructed mostly of hardwood and is very warm and welcoming. Guest rooms are simple, yet beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom. We have a large dining area with a commercial kitchen (where you can store food), an extensive library of spiritual classics, a large common area with a hearth that is great for fires in the cold weather seasons, and a chapel reserved for prayer and reflection.
