The space Chris and David warmly welcome you to our quality B&B in a unique and listed Cornish cottage dating from the late 1600’s. Spring Cottage is centrally located in Cornwall, five miles from Truro and is ideally situated for visiting The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Trellisick. North and south coastlines are within easy reach by car. The Rooms: We have three double letting rooms, all en suite with great showers! Room one has a 5' wide bed - uk King size. The Breakfast: Where possible, we source breakfast ingredients locally and make the most of some fantastic Cornish produce – sausages and bacon from the village farm shop and free range eggs from ‘Cracking Eggs’ of Probus. We offer a hearty cooked breakfast and also lighter alternatives, including home-made American style pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, blueberry pancakes, fresh fruit and various vegetarian options, all served at a time of your choosing. Accessibility: Narrow stairs and sloping floors, whilst being characterful and quirky, may, unfortunately, make our accommodation unsuitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Guest access Room one is a lovely en suite room with a great bed with pocket sprung mattress, guests also have use of a little sun room to relax in. During your stay I live on site, so am on hand to answer questions and give tourist advice, should guests need it. Guest have their own entrance to the cottage affording them much privacy. Other things to note Spring Cottage is also home to our 3 dogs, Angelo, Basil and Toby. They are friendly and are not permitted in the guest rooms, much as they might like to!
