Secluded luxury Shepherd Hut - heart of Mid-Wales

Why not get away from it all and treat yourself to a nourishing stay in our secluded luxury self-catering en-suite shepherd hut, called "Noddfa" (Welsh for 'retreat'). Recharge your batteries in the wonderful Welsh landscapes that surround you. Nature-lovers will find treasures here. The surrounding garden is planted to attract birds and pollinators. Recent sighting include barn owls, redstarts, red-polls, tree-creepers, yellow-hammers, hares to name but a few. The space Noddfa is a luxury 18ft shepherd hut with a difference.... her bed can be configured in a number of different ways to suit our guests. Whether you are on holiday, working in mid-Wales, or needing a place to contemplate, study or write, Noddfa's flexible space can be tailored to your needs. Her default setting is the traditional shepherd hut arrangement with the comfortable king-size bed tucked cosily in the far end. However, upon prior request, the bed can be turned to allow equal access for both sleepers. It can also be split to make twin beds for those who prefer their own space. And for those travelling alone who would like more space, it can be set up with a single bed and desk. Whatever your preference, your bed will be made up with high thread-count natural bedding. You have your own plumbed-in WC and shower room complete with towels, shampoo and conditioner, electric heating, a fully equipped mini-kitchen, a wood-burning stove and hand-made wool, alpaca and silk blankets for that extra cosy factor! Outside, you have a private South-facing deck with far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside, a small patio, use of a gas barbecue (£15 extra), parasol and fire-pit. If you choose to use the wood-burner inside the hut or the fire-pit outside, a box of fire-wood, kindling etc is available for £5. To complete your well-being experience, our beautiful studio space, Studio-W, is available for your use for a small fee, subject to availability. It is perfect for contemplation, meditation or personal practice. Bespoke yoga sessions are also available by arrangement. Guest access The whole shepherd hut is exclusively for our guests, together with its private deck and patio, gas barbecue and fire-pit. We live in the nearby farmhouse and there is a beautiful garden surrounding the whole property. Our shepherd hut is self-catering, but we do provide tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper Other things to note The shepherd hut is accessed by three steps with a rope handrail.
